Beyond the Field

Husband. Father. Educator. Coach. Community Member.
The most important things in my life happen away from the football field. I am a husband, a father, and someone who believes that the relationships we build and the communities we invest in are what make life meaningful. Football and education are important parts of who I am, but my family is what keeps everything in perspective.
My wife, Olivia, and I share a love for education, athletics, and being involved in the communities where we live and work. Olivia is a former collegiate softball player and college coach who now serves as a special education teacher at our local elementary school. Her passion for working with kids and helping others has always been an important part of our family's life.
Together, we are proud parents of two boys, Thomas and Eli. Our family revolves around supporting them, encouraging them, and giving them opportunities to grow. Both boys are involved in multiple sports, which means much of our time is spent at practices, games, tournaments, and local Little League events. We wouldn't have it any other way.
Being a dad has given me a different perspective on the responsibility adults have when working with young people. Every child deserves people in their corner who believe in them, challenge them, encourage them, and genuinely care about their future.
We believe that being part of a community means more than simply living in a town or working in a school district. It means showing up, supporting local families, investing in kids, and building relationships that extend beyond the classroom or athletic field.
We enjoy being involved in the activities our boys participate in and getting to know the families and people who make our community special. Some of the best relationships are built through the everyday moments: time at the ballpark, conversations with other parents, school activities, and supporting the people around us.
I believe communities are strongest when people take pride in where they live, support one another, and work together to create opportunities for the next generation.
When we aren't at a ball field or working, our family enjoys watching movies, traveling, exploring new places, and finding opportunities to make memories together. We enjoy taking trips and experiencing new things, but some of our favorite moments are the simple ones spent together.
Family keeps life busy, gives it perspective, and reminds me of what matters most.
Whether I am working with students in the classroom, coaching on the field, or spending time with my family, I try to approach every opportunity with the same belief:
What is best for the kid!
That belief is bigger than football. It is about putting people first, building meaningful relationships, creating opportunities, and helping young people become the best versions of themselves.
